La Pomme means "apple" in french, the forbidden fruit. This New Year’s Eve, let La Pomme tempt, tease and delight your senses as you bid adieu to 2011 and welcome 2012 with an earth shattering bang! Step inside the chic 3500sf bi-level lair of nightlife fantasy located in the heart of Chelsea and you’ll know you’ve arrived at one of the most scintillating affairs in town. The décor is tres risqué accented with seductive Fadil Berisha photographic murals and classic tromp l’oeil Victorian wallpaper. There is no bottle or cocktail service for Seated VIP ticket holders.

Music Crowd

DJ dB has made quite a name for himself in a short amount of time. It didn’t take long before he worked his way up through the ranks in the NYC nightlife scene. Recently dB and his friend DJ Wonder have formed the duo Animal Status. The two have collaborated with other genre-bending producers, while remixing tracks for Crookers & Savage Skulls (“Bust ‘Em Up”), Major Lazer (“Pon De Floor”), Adam Tensta (“Ok Wow”), Australian band Olympic Ayres (“Daylight”), and currently working with Parisian House ensemble Strange Fruit. Their remix of Major Lazer’s “Pon De Floor” into “Who Run De Floor On Halloween” – a blend of the original track with the theme to Halloween – was released on Twitter by Diplo and featured on Mad Decent. Currently, Animal Status is pushing their self-produced ode to the late Wu-Tang Clan member Ol’ Dirty Bastard, aptly titled “Ol’ Dirty Bounce”. The track was also featured on Mad Decent, and as Diplo’s hypeman Skerrit Bwoy puts it, “the best track of the summer!”
